SUPPORT US
Todd Hill Farm
Would you like to support Todd Hill Farm? Thanks to the generosity of our donors, corporate sponsors and volunteers, we are able to operate at peak performance and create the best environment for students, staff and of course, our horses.
We would like to thank the following organizations for supporting us!

Todd Hill Farm is a non-profit organization. Thankfully, most of our expenses are covered by our monthly revenue from lesson fees. Having said that, there are always unexpected expenses and regular upgrades and improvements needing to be made. Here are just a few of the additional expenses we will incur over the next 12 months:
  • Horse medical care (veterinarian visits, therapies, medications)
  • Arena sound system
  • Barn expansion to accommodate savings and hay storage
  • Upgraded to paddock footing
  • Upgrades to arena footing
  • Repair and replacement of jumps
  • Development of cross country course
  • Additional fencing for pastures
  • Concrete pad for manure storage
  • Additional horses purchases as older horses are retired
The Impact

Horseback riding is unlike traditional sports in that the rider develops a relationship and partnership with the horse. They become one unit. This can have a profound impact on the metal and emotional well-being of our youth. This relationship extends beyond the actual activity of riding. When you watch a child interact with a horse in any capacity, it is evident that there are multiple personal development opportunities. Here are just a few of the benefits we have seen:

  • Self Confidence
  • Empathy
  • Problem Solving Skills
  • Negotiation Skills
  • Compromise
  • Patience
  • Overcoming Fears
  • Pride
  • Teamwork
  • Leaderships

By supporting the farm, you are supporting the development of our youth and the next generation of community leaders. Please CONTACT US if you would like to make a donation. Thank you!

Sponsorship
There are many perks and benefits to sponsorship. If you are a company or individual that would like to sponsor a horse at Todd Hill Farm, please contact us for more information.
Fundraisers
A few times a year, we hold fundraiser events to raise funds for different projects as well as raise morale and spirit. We love to get everyone involved and have some fun. See below to see what we are currently up to.

Volunteer

Todd Hill Farm relies on a roster of full-time staff, part-time staff, student helpers and volunteers.  Our helpers and volunteers are the backbone of the operation – they are the “glue” that keeps everything together! With 30+ horses, there’s always something that needs to be done – from changing horse blankets to cleaning stalls.

Volunteering at Todd Hill Farm is very rewarding!  You get to experience fresh air, friendships and of course the smell of horses!  If you have a workplace team who wants to volunteer their time or a half or full day, most employers would grant that time with pay, since it’s a way of giving back to the community.  We provide Certificates of Appreciation to companies that do this – perfect for hanging on the wall!

Helping with Horses is hard work but incredibly satisfying!  It’s cheaper than going to the gym and you sleep well at night!  Having volunteer experience of this nature on a resume can be a real asset when applying for any kind of work, post-secondary educational opportunities or programs where there may be stiff competition on acceptance.  Todd Hill Farm is happy to provide letters of reference and also serve as a reference for our volunteers.
